It has been a very long 17 days without Hope and Sam. Sam has gotten bigger in just these past few weeks. He now has 5 teeth, and he is crawling all over the place. Now begins the really exhaustive part of parenting, never taking your eye off your child.
Niger was spectacular as always. It was great to bring 12 people that had never experienced anything like this. We presented 6 sewing machines to a sewing school, visited the kids at our orphanage, put up the exterior shell of a church, built a home for a pastor and spent time in two separate villages sharing “good news campaigns.”
The picture below is of one of the lady’s that came on the trip with us. The picture is taken in the village of Boubon which is about 20 minutes outside of the capital city.
