Today is my thirty-second birthday. They’re coming a bit quicker these days.

I had an idea. It’s something I would like for all of you to get me as a gift. The idea is that Niger, this land that I love, needs way more than me. Go to and check it out.

Live ten24 asks you to choose to give something up every month. Something that costs ten dollars and twenty-four cents. Like a movie ticket. Or three lattes. Then you give that money for wells, orphans, schools, food for hungry kids, and small businesses.  So much can be learned through sacrifice.  Even a small one like $10.24.  I love the idea of giving something up.  Some how it means more this way.

There has been so much happening in my heart lately. I can’t wait to tell you about it soon. I want my life to make a difference in the lives of these people.  May you have a joy filled Ides of March!

This must be the first time I’ve actually come to your blog and not read it through Google Reader! I love the design with the panja! Awesome!
